Multiple Exposure

In photography, a multiple exposure is a combination of two or more exposures to create a single image. This is a technique in which the camera shutter is opened more than once to expose the film, usually to different images. However, in this day and age, we can recreate a similar effect in Photoshop, as you can see here. For best results, portraits of people are used and combined with a dramatic landscape scene. This technique produces a beautifully haunting effect which has become very popular in the design world.
